As a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) at www.nfopp.co.uk you can be assured that the property you rent from us is managed by an Agency which endeavors to maintain the highest standards to ensure your safety and comfort throughout your tenancy.
The
ARLA bonding scheme (go
to About Us) works for you as well.
If
when you have viewed a property you wish to apply for
it, each person over the age of 18 who wishes to live
in the house will need to complete an application form.
We will employ a credit reference agency to provide a
credit rating and this agency will take up employer and
landlord references. There is a non-refundable administration
fee for this. Attached to the application form is a tenant
information letter to guide you through the process.
If
you are accepted by the landlord and before you move into
the property, you will normally need to pay one month's
rent in advance, a security deposit bond equal to one
month's rent plus £100, an administration fee toward the preparation of the inventory
and agreement and possibly stamp duty. If the property
is already empty, our aim is to move you into the property
within a week to ten days of your application form being
received at this office subject to the receipt of satisfactory
references and the landlords approval.
ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES (EPC)
After 1.10.08 please contact the office if you wish to have sight of the EPC and the accompanying recommendations for any particular property.
